The fabric is not elastic and has a basis weight of approx. 770 g/m²
Application:
Extremely robust and abrasion-resistant Specially designed for heavy-duty applications.
The 560 dtex CORDURA® with butadiene rubber coating was developed for reinforcing areas subject to high loads - especially for the bottoms of heavily used bags and rucksacks.
The thick rubber coating gives the fabric excellent resistance to abrasion and provides reliable protection against damage.
Thanks to its special properties, the fabric is also ideal for projects that have to withstand the highest loads, e.g. transport bags for military equipment, expedition bags and heavy tool bags.
Note:
Please note that the fabric should only be processed with an industrial sewing machine due to its high basis weight and robust rubber coating. A conventional household sewing machine is not suitable for this heavy and rigid material.
