The material has no stretch and has a basis weight of approx. 250 g/m².
This material's technical characteristics are based on specification TL 8305-0278 – D1
The fabric is water-repellent and thanks to its PU coating it is well protected against moisture penetration.
Application:
560 dtex Cordura impresses with a balanced combination of tear resistance, abrasion resistance and versatility.
These properties make the fabric the ideal choice for the manufacture of rucksacks, bags, tactical vests and plate carriers. The material offers high resilience combined with good workability and is therefore a popular choice for equipment that needs to be reliable and durable.
560 dtex Cordura is also used as a protective material in clothing production - for example in the elbows, shoulders or knees - wherever clothing is exposed to additional wear and tear.
The material is very easy to work with and is particularly suitable for MYOG (Make Your Own Gear) and DIY projects, as it can be easily sewn on a domestic sewing machine. For processing 560 dtex Cordura on the Veritas Power Stitch Pro, we recommend a maximum processing of 6 layers in combination with the Gütermann Mara 70.
