1100dtex INVISTA CORDURA® in in color 5 color Flecktarn. Made of 100% Nylon based on TL 8305-0278, TL8305-0290 and weighs 380 g/m².
The fabric is water-repellent and thanks to its PU coating it is well protected against moisture penetration.
Application:
1100 dtex Cordura is characterized by higher stiffness, dimensional stability and abrasion resistance compared to 560 dtex Cordura.
These properties make 1100 dtex Cordura suitable for heavy-duty items of luggage subject to higher loads, such as duffle bags, backpacks and travel bags. The material can also be used as a reinforcing fabric on the bottom parts of lighter items of equipment.
The material itself is not suitable as a clothing fabric, but is often sewn into protective armor and heavily used clothing as additional reinforcement in the knee, elbow, shoulder and forearm areas.
Compared to 560 dtex Cordura, the higher titer results in a rougher surface and greater stiffness, which makes the material more difficult to process on tight radii.
To process 1100 dtex Cordura on the Veritas Power Stitch Pro, we recommend a maximum of 4 layers when using the Gütermann Mara 70 thread.
This fabric-type is IRR-safe, PU coated, DWR, water-resistant. This fabric has no stretch and is 150cm wide.
